2. Data collected
We collect only what the service requires: contact details (name, e-mail, phone) provided when requesting a valuation; property data (address, typology, area, condition, features) entered in the form; documents you choose to upload (land registry record, energy certificate, floor plans); payment data, handled directly by the payment provider and not accessible to us; and technical browsing data.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Performing the service you requested and delivering the valuation — performance of the contract or pre-contractual steps. Answering your messages — same basis. After a free estimate, letting you know in the following months if the estimated value changes and asking how your project is going — with the consent given in the form; every email lets you stop these messages. Sending marketing communications — only with your consent, withdrawable at any time. Being contacted by partner agencies — only if you ticked that option, which is never pre-ticked. Meeting our legal obligations, in particular tax ones. Improving the service and preventing abuse — legitimate interest.
4. Recipients
Your data is accessible to processors acting on our instructions and for this service alone: website hosting, e-mail delivery, payment processing (Stripe), invoicing (InvoiceXpress), locating the address on the map (Nominatim / OpenStreetMap) and artificial-intelligence services generating part of the report text and the answers of the FAQ assistant.
Partner agencies. Only if you expressly tick that option, and only for a sale project, your request is offered for 30 days to the partner agencies of the area and transferred, against payment, to a single agency at a time. That agency receives your name, e-mail and phone number, the address and features of the property and the estimated range. An e-mail tells you its name and lets you refuse the contact. If it does not contact you within the agreed time, the request may be entrusted to another partner agency, and a new e-mail tells you its name.
5. International transfers
Some processors may handle data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on an adequacy decision or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention periods
Free estimate: erased 24 months after the request unless you ordered a paid report; if you objected to our communications, we keep only the e-mail address and the date of the objection, in order to honour it. Unpaid request: erased 7 days after the request. Paid reports and invoicing records: kept for at least the 10 years required by tax law. Request passed on, with your consent, to a partner agency: kept as evidence of that transfer. Data based on consent: until you withdraw it. Technical logs: 90 days for e-mail deliveries, 12 months for payments.
7. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to contact@tagusvalue.com. We reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), the Portuguese supervisory authority, or with the authority of your country of residence.
