2. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the website and the supply of the estimation and property valuation services presented on it.
3. Nature of the service
The valuation supplied is a professional estimate of probable market value, based on market data and on the information you provide. It is not an appraisal certified by a perito avaliador registered with the CMVM, nor a bank, tax or judicial appraisal, and it binds no buyer, seller or lender. The accuracy of the result depends on the accuracy of the data you supply.
4. Prices
Prices are shown on the pricing page, in euros and including VAT at the applicable statutory rate. The price of the Premium report may depend on the estimated value of the property; in that case the price bands are shown before payment and the final amount is confirmed before you approve it. No amount is charged without being displayed first.
5. Ordering and payment
The order is concluded once payment is approved. Payment is processed by a specialist provider; we do not store your card details. The invoice is issued electronically and sent by e-mail.
6. Delivery times
Free estimate. The estimate is delivered immediately, as soon as you submit the form. If the prices in your area are not sufficient to calculate it reliably, it is sent by email as soon as they allow it, within 4 days at the latest.
Básico report. The report is emailed after review by one of our experts.
Premium report. The report is delivered 48 working hours after the video call with the expert. The deadline runs from the video call, not from payment: the call is what produces the analysis. The video call is booked after the order.
7. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you have 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason, under Decreto-Lei no. 24/2014. Important exception: by requesting immediate performance of the service and expressly acknowledging this when ordering, you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed — which is the case when the report is sent. For the Premium report, the right remains until the video call takes place.
8. Report refund
The amount paid for the report is refunded or credited if you sign an exclusive sales mandate with TAGUS PROPERTY (LX CHASSEUR IMMOBILIER LDA, AMI licence no. 13266). This option is only available in the areas where the agency operates: outside them, the report is non-refundable. The request is sent to contact@tagusvalue.com and the refund is made using the same payment method, within 14 days of its acceptance. Outside that situation, and beyond the right of withdrawal above, the report is not refundable.
9. User obligations
You undertake to provide accurate information and to hold the necessary rights over any documents you upload. Inaccurate information compromises the result and gives no right to a refund.
10. Liability
We use our best efforts regarding the accuracy of information and the availability of the site, without guaranteeing that any transaction value will be achieved or that service will be uninterrupted. Our liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the service concerned, except where the law does not allow it.
11. Intellectual property
The website, the report and the methodology are protected. The report is for your personal use and may be shown to third parties as part of your property project; any commercial reproduction requires authorisation.

The processing of your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Complaints and disputes
Complaints may be sent to contact@tagusvalue.com. The Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico is also available. In the event of a consumer dispute, you may refer the matter to the following alternative dispute resolution body (Lei no. 144/2015): www.consumidor.gov.pt.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. The Portuguese courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
